We will be needing a volunteer to help with some chores around the studio, like we have needed in the past. We will trade volunteer time for studio time. This position works from 5pm-9pm on Mon, Wed, Fri nights. 

Tasks: 

• clay recycle & moving muddy bucket water, including pugging & washing empty clay bags to reuse
• filling buckets of water at 5pm for customers taking the wheel class in Nov & Dec, or for private lessons.
• cleaning one bathroom every other week 
• mopping floors, especially around all of the wheels and could include the hand building area (unless that area is packed up and stored) once a week. Some vacuuming of carpet strips too.
• mixing & sieving glazes
• sanitizing buckets & lids
• may include calling customers when orders are ready to pick up
• assisting with Throw Downs (Saturday night once a month) and private lessons on Friday nights, wedging clay in preparation
• assisting with inventory of goods, counting, selling, etc
• wiping down wheels & washing bats when they are not cleaned enough after use
• Other tasks that I haven't remembered yet

During Nov & Dec tasks may include supporting tasks that help with adult wheel classes that Jenny is teaching, such as assisting customers when the doorbell rings up front, selling anything that is available. After Dec, this need should be going away and only the rear doors will be used.

Compensation in the past was a trade of time. Time spent working was traded for time spent using the studio premises for clay work creation. It does not include clay, glaze, or kiln firing.
