Community Pottery StudioSupport the mission created by the Midnight Potter to build a community pottery studio in Anchorage, AK, since 1998.
This has been our purpose in life for many years. The goal has been realized & achieved, but by another business that started up in 2021 without me. I am saddened that they didn't invite a partnership with me, and all of my knowledge, in the creation of their community studio after I have worked for 26 years to spread the idea, hoping other investor-artists would be willing to work together to create such a venture. But now that they have taken on the same goal, I can be free to focus on a different use of my pottery skills and make what I want with clay instead of working 12-18 hours a day working two jobs and trying to keep the doors open for others and the bills paid. I will take some much deserved time for myself to find the joy in clay work again. |
