Reserve the Party Room for Your Special Day
Here's how it works:
Book your day online by using the Book Your Party button below or stop in, and our friendly staff can let you know what dates are available. The cost of the party consists of renting the party room plus the cost of the items being painting by your party guests.
The cost for renting the room is $50 per hour and most parties last two hours. The room can be reserved for $25 to book your date and time. This is a non-refundable fee.
Additional costs of pottery chosen for guests will be added to the overall total and paid on the day of the event in the studio. Our paint-able pottery pieces cost $20 and up per piece.
Minimum of 4 persons per party is required. Maximum of 10 persons per party (this includes the number of parents and kids physically attending. We consider our studio a "small-batch party" location. We cater to small private parties.

Here's what we provide for Bisque Painting Parties:
1-3 staff persons to facilitate the painting activity
Set up and clean up before and after the party
The bisque, glazes, brushes, & kiln firing
What we need from you:
Come in 2 weeks prior to your event to pre-select your ceramic items for the party to stay in your budget. Minimum price per person for the chosen pieces is $20 per piece.
One week prior to the party we will need a final count and name list of those attending. You can email a list to us. These names will be used to organize the setting and help us keep track of the party's finished projects. Failure to provide the names ahead of time will result in a cancellation of the party.
***Additional time for the party room use is available for an extra $50 per hour. Must verify at the time of booking if additional time is available. Additional clean up fees will be charged for excessive messes beyond normal activity which is determined by our experienced staff. This may mean if a mess falls from the table onto the floor and will require mopping immediately.
On the day of your event:
You will be greeted by our friendly staff member and shown to the party room.
There will be a table for your gifts and foods & drinks can be stored in our refrigerator and freezer until after the glazing is done.
As guests** arrive, they will be seated at the table(s) and will be able to color on paper to warm up their imaginations until all guests arrive, for appx 15 minutes. (**For children's parties ages 8-14)
All guests need to arrive on time at the start of the party. Late comers will not be accomodated since they will not be informed of the process and the disruption is not easy to handle. Once all the guests have arrived, we will give a short introduction to the glazing process.
Guests will choose from the pre-selected pieces and choose 3 glaze colors to start with.
Staff will distribute the glazes and everyone starts brushing on the glazes.
When the guests have finished, the staff will collect the pieces and clean up the table(s). Guests can wash up with wash clothes or at the bathroom sink, taking turns. Consuming food or drinks while glazing is not recommended for health and safety reasons.
Food & drink may be consumed after the painting is done and everyone has washed or removed any glazes from their hands. We recommend that snacks, like oily chips, not be consumed before handling bisque items. Grease will prevent the glazes from making a good bond to the ceramic bisque. We are not responsible for chipped glazes or spots missing glaze after firing. Please limit the party foods to cake, ice cream, and canned or bottled drinks. Pizza can be scheduled for delivery after the party starts (Pizza delivery is the responsibility of the party host, not the studio.)
In approx 28-40 days after the party, the order will be ready to pick up. We will call or email to let you know when it is ready.
***After 65 days from the party date, if the order is not picked up, it may be disposed of by the staff.
