Kids Summer Clay Wheel Throwing Classes
In this class kids will be using a real potters throwing wheel that spins at a high velocity. We reserve this clay method for kids & teens who are responsible, coordinated, and show attention to details. Throughout the summer we'll be presenting wheel throwing 2 days a week. We'll throw something new on Tuesday, then trim a foot on Thursday.
These 2-day workshop classes take students through the process of creating something with clay on a spinning wheel machine. Glazing is not part of the activities done in these classes. Kids will choose one color from 5 glaze choices for our adult staff to complete at a later date in the summer. Supplies are included.
Classes will take place Tuesday & Thursday, 2:00pm-4:00pm. These wheel throwing clay workshops will be offered every week throughout the summer. For ages 13-17. Check below for specific dates.
Refund/Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the start of the class in order to receive a refund of class fees, minus an admin fee of $40. The studio is not liable for events that occur that prevent participants from taking a class. The studio is not liable for your absences from classes and makeup classes are not included, nor are makeup sessions the responsibility of the studio to fulfill. Class fees are not refundable after the first class is attended. All refunds will be issued to the named parent on the registration forms or to the credit card name provided.
