We are looking for instructors for summer camps, homeschool classes and other workshops for kids or adults and to fill in the daily shifts to run the store and do studio maintenance tasks. Tasks: QuickBooks knowledge, data entry, and Point of Sale setup, implementation, and maintenance.
Skills needed: QuickBooks inventory management, invoicing, purchase ordering, ShopKeep POS implementation, Weebly website integration/mtce, inventory organization skills, detail oriented, managing store inventory, display setup, with an interest in running a pottery store. Gallery Manager/Coordinator or Marketing & Merchandising Manager:
Bring your years of business experience, ideally from an arts environment, to our shop. This part-time position includes finding artists, contracting, communicating, and coordinating with artists to display or hang their work monthly and hanging artwork in general. Could include teaching classes, and helping new artists prepare their work for display or hanging. Includes multiple art mediums from paintings to pottery. We also want to increase our consignment pottery base. This position handles some social media advertising, posting events to newspapers, taking pictures, creating flyers and other small business tasks as needed. Light cleaning and dusting as needed in the gallery. Assisting customers on an as-needed basis during open hours or events. Coordinate and host First Friday events. May also help with Saturday night public events when they are scheduled. Requires an ability to climb up and down very tall ladders to hang artwork.
Art Teachers:
We are an educational art facility as well as a supplier and manufacture business. We seek artists who can share and teach art techniques to others of all ages. Help us develop and offer art classes of multiple mediums. However, we are not an uncontrolled messy artist studio. Clean up is required. Pre-thinking to minimize the cleanup process afterwards is very useful. Art materials are sometimes hazardous and education on safe handling is part of the process. Part-time or full-time, hourly wage, with commissions.

- Sieve and mix glazes carefully without spilling or wasting expensive materials
- Set up and help Paint-Your-Own-Pottery customers and clean up afterwards
- Provide information to customers related to pottery
- Mentor other studio users to follow the studio rules
- Ring up sales. This requires cashier & customer service skills; good handwriting; and the ability to record monetary transactions accurately and provide correct change or accept credit cards
